2017Annual Planning Conference

The 2017 Annual Planning Conference will be held in Salina on October 19th and 20th The conference included two days of sessions and mobile workshops along with a one-day Planning Commissioner training! Keep checking back for more details!

HOTEL INFORMATION: A block of rooms is reserved at the Hilton Garden Inn and Conference Center for $119 + tax.  Rooms can be reserved by clicking here and use the Group Code: KAP. You may also call 785-309-0440.  The block of rooms will be held until October 1st.

REGISTRATION: We are currently working with Nationals to set this up.

2017 PROGRAM: We are finalizing a few more details, then the sessions will be posted. We are trying to lock-in a really dynamic keynote speaker, so fingers crossed!

Annual Conference Information

Each year, the Kansas Chapter of the American Planning Association holds a conference. It is the annual gathering of professional planners and planning officials in the state.

The conference typically draws more than 100 professional planners and educators, planning officials, lawyers, architects, economic development professionals and more. The APA-KS annual conference is marketed to prospective attendees from Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Iowa, and Colorado!
